Hi, I'm Alex.

I feel like this is where I would put my "elevator pitch," but I've yet to perfect that. I think it's because I like to talk too much.
We'll just have to practice here.
I'm based New York City, and even being able to type that is simply a dream come true. I grew up in in the suburbs of Massachusetts (think a quintessential New England town) my whole life. Don't get me wrong, I love the green space of suburbia, but I'm a city girl at heart.
Naturally, I went running to the closest city I could reach as soon as I had the chance. I graduated from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, in December of 2021, where I studied journalism with a focus in broadcasting and a concentration in political science (and, let me just tell you, these days, you have to concentrate in that area hard).
In the last year alone, nearly every dream I've ever had for myself has come true. I interned for the TODAY Show and for E! News before graduating from BU and moving to work for E! full-time. There, I report on all the latest and greatest celebrity news and interview your favorite (and my favorite) stars. Think Rob Lowe, Keke Palmer, Kristen Bell, Jenny Slate, Venus Williams, Eva Longoria and more. I also cover red carpets, take you inside award shows and film premieres, and write about all things Law & Order. *Dun Dun*
I love that show (see the photo above).
You can learn a little bit more about me on this online portfolio I've made, or read about what I was into and up to during COVID on the blog. She's a few years old now— the blog, that is— and I definitely wasn't breaking any news there, but I was still writing, which is my very favorite thing to do. And, sometimes, most times, stories just get better with age.
I'm a storyteller at heart, what can I say.
